FROM JK WITH LOVE!

BSMG, a leading multimedia producer and distributor of African Music in the United States has released a new single by Zambia’s current leading musical superstar, Jordan Katembula better known as JK. The new single titled “I Love You”, has elements of Rhumba, Azonto, and is categorized as one of the best AfroBeat songs recorded by JK so far. “I Love You” was produced and mixed by JK’s fellow label mate, Genius Selection, one of the most brilliant Ghanaian producers to date.
JK began his professional career in 1997, performing in several bands before launching his solo career in 2000. As JK’s career started to blossom he he quickly created a name for himself across Europe and was lauded as a household name in his native country of Zambia. His debut album seemed to be perfectly in tune with what the public wanted and instantly JK became an established superstar in Zambia while gaining respect throughout Africa and Europe.

JK’s music appeals to young and old alike. His body of work is of the highest quality and embodies a fine blend of musical influences ranging from Rhumba to Reggae. As a performer, he has graced international stages in both Africa and Europe. He has also collaborated with international musical legends and superstars such as R.Kelly, 2Face, 4×4, Alikiba, Fally Ipupa, Amani, and Movaizhalein on the acclaimed international hit for One 8 “Hands across the World”. Since the release of his first single in 2001, JK has single handedly changed the way the Zambian public perceived local music.
